Inspired by subscription boxes that surged in popularity during 2020, “Little Pages & Play Box” was born at my library for the youngest of our users: ages 2 and under. The following crafts vary in their end result but many serve to provide:
- A tactile experience while creating the craft or with the final product.
- A bonding experience between caregiver and child.
- An end product that serves as a memory keepsake for the adult.
- Educational growth through early literacy skills.
- A lasting connection to the library.
- A craft where supplies can be bought in bulk and distributed to 100+ library users.
